Scott Pilgrim vs the World (FAQs)

Based on the film and small press comic book Scott Pilgrim, hopefully this will take advantage of all the gaming culture that the series is steeped in when it comes to XBLA.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days (FAQs)

While it’s an improvement over the first game, Kane & Lynch 2’s high production values and streamlined focus are overshadowed by its thudding repetition, narrowly linear design, five-hour campaign and hugely unappealing protagonists. It’s still a decent shooter, but it’s definitely not for everyone.

Madden NFL 11 (FAQs)

Red Dead Redemption (FAQs)

This sequel to PS2′s excellent Wild West outing looks like being a superb open-world experience in the beautiful expanses of the western frontier.

Aliens vs Predator (FAQs)

This revival of the classic FPS is deliriously gory, unwaveringly confident and spectacular fun. And, at the very least, it’s far better than the horrid AvP films.

Scott Pilgrim vs the World (FAQs)

Based on the film and small press comic book Scott Pilgrim, hopefully this will take advantage of all the gaming culture that the series is steeped in when it comes to PSN.

Madden NFL 11 (FAQs)

Red Dead Redemption (FAQs)

This sequel to PS2′s excellent Wild West outing looks like being a superb open-world experience in the beautiful expanses of the western frontier.

Super Street Fighter IV (FAQs)

In this age of DLC and $2.00 costume unlocks, this upcoming Street Fighter IV update is fittingly old school, as it comes packaged as a whole new game with new features and characters included.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (FAQs)

Lighter, more focused and ultimately more linear than its predecessors, Forgotten Sands never quite feels like a “real” Prince of Persia game, but its popcorn plot and slickly designed, trap-filled environments make it wildly enjoyable anyway.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 (FAQs)

Expanding on the original’s brilliance, this ingenious platformer only gets better by embracing the Wii’s limited capabilities and adds so many ideas, big and small, that we can’t help but love it. Even if you (mistakenly) believe it’s too similar to the first game, what’s wrong with more of an incredibly great thing?

Arc Rise Fantasia (FAQs)

An original fantasy RPG for the Wii, this was well received in Japan, though we’ll wait and see what it means to the US.

Rune Factory: Frontier (FAQs)

Like the best fantasy, Frontier does exciting. Unlike the best fantasy, it still understands the appeal of the relaxing. Never demanding one or the other, but particularly brilliant with both, this is a great addition to the series, eclipsing Wii’s Harvest Moon escapades with style.

Cave Story (FAQs)

An amazing throwback to the good-old days of the NES, yet leaps and bounds above those days in refinement of gameplay.

Mega Man 10 (FAQs)

Continuing the retro revival that started with Mega Man 9, Mega Man 10 on WiiWare keeps the old-school fun alive, while easing up the insane difficulty that was in 9.
